Write Stuff Resources assists clients in the English-speaking world with career and author services including editing, ghostwriting, professional résumé writing, book proposals, and book publishing coaching. Founded by Wisconsin’s first certified ghostwriter, Laurel Kashinn in 2012, the firm’s office is located in historic Cedarburg, Wisconsin,  just 20 minutes north of Milwaukee.

The mission of Write Stuff Resources is to guide, inspire and motivate individuals on their journey of self-awareness, to fulfill ambitions and life goals in alignment with the greater good through collaborative writing.

Laurel A. Kashinn
Certified Ghostwriter | Résumé Writer | Strategic Communications Consultant

Laurel Kashinn a Certified Ghostwriter and Résumé Writer with 18+ years of experience helping clients write and edit books and professional résumés. She served as Director of Design and Operations for DanceArtFX for 12 years, a graphic design firm servicing an international niche market with custom promotional products and t-shirts. She founded Blue Rose Studio Books which published business books and pamphlets and provided design services to authors.  She has also edited, photo edited, and designed newsletters, magazines, brochures, catalogs, direct sales materials. Early in her career she worked in the marketing department at Gareth Stevens Children’s Books and managed telemarketing and operations at Penworthy Publishing /American Media Corporation, a distributor of children’s books to schools and libraries nationwide. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from UW-Madison in 1985 and also produced radio shows on Wisconsin Public Radio.

Some of Laurel’s recent book projects include editing and interior page design of Getting I.T. Right: A Leader’s Guide for Installing the Organizational App by Jim Bohn, PhD. Ghosting, editing and design of Romance the Architecture with Word Marketing: How to Empower Real Estate Advertising Through the Proper Choice of Words, fully revised second and third editions, by Therese F. Kasemodel; KASHING IN On Your Future: 8 Principles To Help You Create the Life of Your Dreams, by Joe Schlidt, and others. She’s been published in The Word, Conscious Choice, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ozaukee County News Graphic, Builder/Architect, Successful Builder and many client in-house publications. Other clients include Custom Ink, Kohler Company, Center for Creative Learning, Novoprint Inc., PFA, Inc., Portal Industries, Ozaukee Tourism Council, Jefferson Country Tourism, and Raffel Product Development.

Laurel’s interests include natural health and healing, ancient wisdom knowledge and philosophies, the environment, and science fiction. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, tossing a frisbee for their Decker terrier, horseback riding, vacationing in the Black Hills and Door County, and fine art pastel and pen and ink. As an Orthodox Christian and student of A Course In Miracles, she finds inspiration and renewal visiting monasteries and reading the church fathers, lives of the saints, and contemporary elders. She is an active member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and past board member of Cedarburg Green: Friends of the Community Forest, and GreenSquare Foundation for Integrative Health.
